The last restart in the Nationwide race from Gateway was good racing, right up till Edwards dumps Keselowski. It could have been anybody lined up 1st and 2nd with two laps to go and the possibilty of them getting together is usually pretty good. Then make it Keselowski and Edwards, and that makes the possibility even higher. I wondered if Edwards stays in the gas on the outside if he doesn't win any way. One of the top two dirtiest moves in racing is to turn a car from the right rear corner. Do it while the field is strung out is bad, do it in front of the whole field is even worse. The other one is to be inside of a car in the corner and then turn right and drive them into the wall.
It makes me wonder what price NASCAR is willing to let drivers and owners pay for them, just to put butts in the seats and ratings for the tv.
Apparently Marcus Smith thought that was a great ending to a race. http://espn.go.com/racing/blog/_/name/newton_david/id/5391961/have-boys-no-not-way
Maybe Mr Smith should strap in a racecar and do a full speed re-enactment of the wreck. As soon as he gets out of the car someone can stick a camera and mic in his face, and ask him, How was that?
